I haven't been reading the comments for a long while, so I don't know if anyone has called them out yet, but back when this arc was just starting, there was some moron here in the comments suggesting the gate would be nothing but a mere prop. It would never be opened and sure as hell not lead to another space, as that would go against anything this manga stood for. And if it did, it would be a betrayal towards their own work on the mangaka's part. And anyone who expected anything at all to happen involving the gate was a complete and utter dumbass. Because it was so obvious that this gate was not real. Because why would a museum have ancient artifacts? And apparently the entire fandom was utterly stupid for not realizing this. They were beyond furious when writing those kinds of comments, cursing up and down. What I've paraphrased here is downright nice compared to what that person was saying.
...I wonder what they're feeling now after reading this chapter.

That was me! I admitted I was wrong a few times since. Drew me eating crow with emojis.
It's been clear I was wrong for months. Like, it was clear really quickly, and I said "looks like I was wrong!" Immediately.

I still think it being in a museum is weird, unless the museum was built around it.

But it is a manga, and this is a place that put an amusement park on top of a prison.

I was taking it too seriously.

I was also going through the end of an abusive marriage, but that's a contributing factor, not an excuse.

My instinct for this place is that it's some kind of space in between the human and demon worlds, which is why regular flowers are mixed up with cartoon demon flowers. So excited for whatever it is that's happening now :-D

It's been so long since the last time we saw wicked Iruma/Irumean so I was hoping he'd stick around for a while longer but I guess not, at least we're making headway in that Demon King prophecy though

Iruma's character has gone through so much change since the start that his evil variant is less a personality shift now and more just him locking in. And I find that very interesting

Looks to be a fun arc, but sad we didn't get to see more of Evil Cycle Iruma. Hopefully won't be years until next time.
