The human world basically has NOTHING that is of value to him, and at this point, just depressing memories.

I didn't forget, but some of you probably forgot that this series IS an isekai 😛

And sorry Clara, but these are BIG points in favor of Ameri.

I have a feeling demons need something to enter the human world, whether summoned or something, so she might not even be able to enter that portal. We all also expect Ameri to stop Iruma from going back to Earth, even though he likely doesn't want to.

And for those expecting it, I'm sorry, but I don't think these two have the time to visit the human world at the moment.

I think that this interstitial world was created to allow demons and humans to meet safely, specifically like how Ameri's mother and father did (looks like those thinking it was that place, AND those thinking it connected to the human world, were both right!) but blocked from travelling through to the other side; it could be that magic is suppressed internally and the human-side gate prevents those with magic from going through, which could be why Iruma was able to go through but the others were blocked. It could also just be a species thing where humans are allowed but demons are not.

i'm just here to applaud y'all because i was expecting to see "what are you doing, step-prez?" or whatever as like the very first comment with him in that pose and i'm happy it wasn't

i mean it did happen, but not immediately at least. anyway dude just barely learned how to be angry about getting mistreated not ten minutes ago so getting slam-dunked back into the location responsible for 100% of all hardship he's ever encountered should be nice and miserable to watch

My gut feeling tells me he is going to do a U-Turn and they won't go to the human world. Unless we are going to let Ameri know that he is a Human!!

My guess?

Ameri will get worried and grab Iruma to pull him back, but something happens where she gets pulled through too. Demons may not be able to go on their own, but I think they can be led through (like how Sullivan was summoned in the first place, he had to have someway to get to our world).

I think Ameri and Iruma will do a quick tour, she is human looking enough to say she is a foreigner who really enjoys otaku culture (which isnt.. untrue). She won't be able to understand anyone at all besides Iruma, so he can take her around on a date and he can explain the world. This will also be time for them to discuss how they will act when they get back, can't let anyone know what happened.

I also think that we will see Ameri's mother too, total coincidence ofc, since I am one of those that believes Ameri is half-human.

I'm pretty sure she already knows or at very least pretty close to truth. Remember how she suspected him and then Iruma JUST SO HAPPENED to be familiar with manga and even know the language? That story ended with her basically saying "eh, whatever. It is what it is"
