So like a lot have guessed the ring is connected to Delkira. The question is; is he sealed inside it, is just a part of him inside it, or is it just an artifact he enchanted?

...i mean, with all they had been doing, Iruma becoming a demon is the natural course for things to go...

But man, IDK. It feels so utterly boring, with Amelie right besides him, for the story to decide "nah, Iruma is never going back to the human world" and then trying to shut people up by showing the jingling keys that is him turning into a demon.

Like, FUCK. There is so much fuckin shit to do with that concept, it was being teased since the start of the arc, and LITERALLY NOBODY expected it to be more than just a short stay in the human world...yet the entire thing is shot out of a cannon into the stratosphere, together with all the self-reflection and potential activities for Iruma and Amelie to do in the human world together, with the consolation prize being a plot development which was only not obvious (as in, it wasn't the exact 1st thing that came to mind for plot progression... it was the 2nd), but besides that was predictable and natural, yet it's not even a thing that left significant changes in Iruma's body, because we can see in the last panel that they were mostly starting to revert.

MAN WTF I'M SO FUCKING PISSED! I hope at least the fingers do remain as claws, because that's the only not-reversed changed by the end of the chapter besides the fang. Make him actually visibly different now, instead of subtly looking different, if we're not getting an actual decent arc of Iruma having to deal with the human world one last time.

he didn't say that...well, not like that. you take context out of it. Ali consumes power the ring stores to manifest. And the ring is constantly recharged by Sullivan. the grandpa, like a battery. Ali most likely meant he only has enough for 1 spell. or that there's only 1 spell that will work: the transformation.

Yeah, they are currently in the space where magic is cut off.

Cambion, sealed. The summoning his parents used was highly targeted and preordained. If his childhood isn't a false memory.

Wonder if the change will be permanent or not. Normally you'd say no but Delkira and Iruma went ham on that spell. In some ways I'd prefer that cus it'd be funny to try and reveal him as a human after he managed to become a demon.

On the other hand it does dampen the tension for him revealing the truth to everyone. We'll see how it plays out.

Magic is the embodiment of will and desire. Basically the more you want something the stronger your power is. And in this moment, he embodied that wish by transforming himself into a demon and shedding his humanity. This was him symbolically rejecting the entire human world, and as results he became much stronger.

As for whether or not it’s permanent, I imagine it’s temporary since he started changing back, but he still had a demon tooth so maybe we’ll start to see some more demon traits on him as the magic flowing through him grant him his desire

I would not be surprised if Iruma is actually a descendant of Delkira. Maybe he was picked up by the irresponsible parents as a baby or Delkira was a grandparent?

I do hope we see more demon Iruma though and have him slowly become more and more demon as he rejects humanity but have it also mess with him to cause new hijinks!

This just makes me believe that Delkira is inside of Iruma, or Iruma is a descendant of Delkira.

Okay, finally the power-up Iruma needed. Now I hope this form allows him to stop relying on the plot or deus ex machina to get out of difficult situations. It was about time he loosened up on the plot armor.
