It also seems to act Indiscriminatelly with its set up of Authorized and Unauthorized Spells. It's not about WHO casts it, but about WHAT is cast, at least by how they said it.

Yeah, which is why at least designating some obvious security risks as counterspell targets school wide preemptively makes perfect sense. Stuff like mind control and detection warding has no good use, only varying degrees of foul play.

And as for the costs, the principal is literally top 3 if not THE most powerful man in the world, I'm sure they can afford it.

My main point isn't how it makes no sense for it to exist, it's that it makes no sense for it to only be introduced now if something like that is possible.

Surprised how rare just using asterisks are for passwords. Funnily enough, most website don't like my passwords, since they are too long. Like 30+ characters, when they typically limit it to 18.

I'd recommend using nonsense phrases with substitutions. Something like, "clarasB3stIrum@" which is easier to remember (Clara's Best Iruma) than it is to guess. Longer ones are better, which leads to my issue of not being able to use longer phrases.
