Some people are so quick to jump right into the conclusion that Iruma x Ameri is now somehow incest, even without any evidence. Guys, just let the chapters stack up and we will eventually find out the truth.


Iruma and Merize just happens to look like, with some slightly differences. Not every character with shorter, dark hair and big eyes are automatically an Iruma's relative.
To me, this arc is showing that both Ameri and Henri have similar tastes.


Now, about the theories, I do believe that this human girl is indeed Ameri's mother and Ameri is somehow half-human (Not sure how that would work, but if that's true, the author will reveal to us eventually). And I do believe that for Merize to stay in the Netherworld as long as giving birth to Ameri, I believe Henri used Transformation Loki on her to make her look like a demon, because It seems that no one in this story knows about Merize's true identity, as we can see in the flashbacks of Merize in the Garden, she looked different.


Or maybe in this timeline Delkira was still there and helped both of them to stay together. This wouldn't surprise me since the last time we saw Iruma using Transformation Loki, he looked exactly like a demon, for a short time, yes, but if Delkira was there when Henri fell for Merize, he could have helped her to look like a demon for way longer.

3 most possible theory I have encountered so far:
1. She is neither Ameri's mother nor Henri's wife. She is Henri's first love, she's probably the one who taught Henri what love is so later he actually found his wife. She's later returned back to the human realm with memory erased (mentioned in chapter 38). She's the author of the manga in Ameri's possession, which Henri bought (of course)
2. She is Ameri's mother, but not Henri's wife. After having Ameri, she has to return the human realm because, well... Anyway, other than this, everything else is the same as theory 1 (I don't really dig in with this theory)
3. She is Merize, Ameri's mother, Henri's wife, and the manga's author. Her appearance in Ameri's memory is different because Henri disguised her as a demon, or she later turned into one. Henri simply lied in chapter 38 to protect her (this, I think is the best theory)
4. I read the theories from lots of places. This is also coming from someone who's has only been reading the Vietnamese translation and hasn't been reading for quite sometime. So there might be things I remember incorrectly, please correct

Iruma and Merize look similar. Thats it. Nothing at all implies they are related. Its just meant to show Henri and Ameri have similar tastes.

Iruma's mother looks nothing like Merize and as far as we know Iruma had no other relatives.

i really try to be respectful and i just assume, that you did not fully read my comment or that i expressed it not good enough.

The story up to this date strongly implies, that this human-woman is Iruma's Mom, because she is basically the female version of him.
Do we know it for sure? NO
Secondly Henri seems to have a strong affection to her and with this chapter we can also strongly assume that it is also romantically.

So to sum it up like many other comments over the last chapter, the POSSIBILITY that they are family-related is no far stretch.
AGAIN it is just a possibility, because up to date there are signs, but AGAIN i still hope this is just baiting for a other plot.
