Remember, Iruma has been wounded before and bled in front of a demon before.
Not the demon beast bird thing from one of the early arcs, but, the little shop keep guy. He intentionally wounded himself to make the giant flower grow and escape a pit.
I think that demons only fall for the temptation when they think that human blood will make them super powerful, when in reality I think it just heals all demonkind.
