If we consider that everything happening in chapter 442 happened in chronological order, then it means that she still had fleeting thoughts of Ameri and Henri after Kushinashi casted the Oblivion spell (spell can work however Nishi wants, i guess, but that bubble bursting kinda makes you think that the spell should've worked right that instant).

However, one can also argue that pages 14-15 are happening in Merize subconsciousness, and not exactly at the moment of transfer, but sorta parallel to the events - "Merize keeps thinking subconsciously about Ameri and Henri, then she gets Oblivion treatment, blank, then she wakes up".

Personally, given how Iruma remembered Shiida, it's obvious that his memories were not erased, but merely repressed. Whether Oblivion actually suppresses memories instead of erasing them, and Iruma managed to shook that off, or it does erase memories, but it didn't work on Iruma, it happened because he's a human. So it's not farfetched to think the same would apply to Merize.

Well that's the thing, are we sure the spell used on Iruma and Co's memories of Walter Park, is the Oblivion spell Kushinashi uses? I just went back and reread that arc, and it's never said what spell is used, just Flufflego saying saying "Must be the effects of some spell."
