I feel like Iruma's request would be for Azz and Clara to still stay friends and stay with each other when he is gone, cos he knew how lonely Clara would get and Azz also needs a friend. Selfless Iruma and all that.

But I'm certain Iruma's own desire to stay in the Netherworld will motivate him to somehow wiggle out of this mess,

Two main possibilities here are:

1. Deportation, followed by an expedition by the misfit class to bring him back

2. A deal is struck. Something akin to reach rank 8 in 1 year or you get deported. Maybe his true identity even gets leaked and he needs to deal with discrimination

1. Deportation or detention/house arrest likely will happen. Following that, a civil war amongst the demons is just as likely happen to bring Iruma back. Iruma has far too many powerful backers at this point to let him go without a fight. And his backers absolutely should know what will happen if Iruma is given up and out of their care. Kiriwo is already set on eating Iruma (literally, not figuratively). And if Baal doesn't let Kiriwo eat Iruma, Iruma is just as likely to be experimented on and die/suffer horribly while in custody.

2. A "peaceful" deal between 2 sides won't happen at this point - Iruma got exposed and Sullivan likely just lost all credibility amongst non-Iruma fans... unless Sullivan has a backroom pre-arrangement and/or deal with the interim demon lord or someone just as powerful (akin to how Henri pulled out Delkiras seal to override another Crown's order).
Keep in mind, even up to now, we still don't know why Iruma was chosen by Sullivan nor how Sullivan managed to get to Iruma without any other demon leaders finding out from chapter 1. From the thief arc, we know the trip to the human world isn't some wily nilly thing even the most powerful demons can do without notice. Sullivan wanting a child/adoption is fine, but of all the people, why Iruma? And why go through such length to do so? Iruma being possibly related to Merize in someway is likely a factor as well, but if so, why was Henri not made aware of it?

The most important person here is Henri. I can actually see Henri forcing a "compromise" to keep Iruma under his watch rather than Narnia's. From the flashback arc, we know Henri has been setting up and now has the demon patrol is split between 2 camps (his and Narnia).

I have the strange idea that Iruma actually has a plan. For example, what if he gets Clara to give him a summoning seal? We know that she can pull anything she's seen out of her pockets. All he has to do is slip it up his sleeve.

Now, Iruma would be thinking that he could use it in a pinch to summon Kalego. But, we the audience knows that the seal will allow Iruma to summon the nearest demon. So depending on the timing, he could summon Kalego, Sullivan, or even Narnia himself. The groundwork has been put in place, so this is all very possible.

Of course, Nishi probably has other ideas, but that's my guess.

What if Purson was there all along?

Purson Soi could have been there and taken some pictures aka paintings and filmed everything that happened, in short some photographic evidence to incriminate Naberius Narnia. Purson Soi is the only one who can stay hidden in plain sight and film the whole scene.

So it could turn out that he was going to tell them, but the Opera seems to stop Iruma from saying that and tell Narnia that if you want to capture Iruma, you wouldn't mind being interrogated for being in the Six Finger Plot, would you?

Bro Fenrir is actually cooked. He has like half of Babyls, half the six crowns, Sullivan and opera, all the teacher, a six finger member, an entire tribe, demon lord candidates, AND possibly Delkira against him. Oh, and us and the author. Bros cooked 😼

I want Narnia's punishment to be what Iruma's familiar becomes, because this punishment will hurt that huge ego that Naberius Narnia has.

I think irumas request will be to not hate him and then he’ll say he’s human

I feel like Clara will be dumfounded but not care and Alice will feel conflicted but still want to protect iruma

His request could just be to go to Clara's playhouse so he can tell them privately (and come up with a plan, or buy time for Sullivan to show up). That would take him out of the eye of a public confession and the only one still left vulnerable would be Clara, and she would be at the full discretion of Babyls and its teachers.
