the only human...? mafia AU is still demonworld?
Raim is adorable, and to think someone she's in contact with would be Amelie's subordinates.
lots of visual service this chapter!
Amelie's and Opera's stressful rapport continues, but instead of the kitchen it's about being Iruma's right hand bodyguard
Iruma's idea for this operation is out of the ball park. a little touched in the head but unhinged is the best.
I'm curious about Az-kun's backstory, we'll probably be covering that in the next chapter but it is still a cliff... also for anyone who wants to know Eito or Ifrit's first appearance is in Ch.4 for this series

The Black Rabbit is an information brokerage and clean up specialist. The only demon bloodline that would match that in the main story is Purson's family.

Considering the magic of Purson Soi's bloodline in the main manga series, I personally imagine Purson Soi and his family in this manga series being a kind of assassin clan in this manga series. Also Purson Soi's family in the main manga series I think would be a kind of manager/patron for the company that creates anti-detection glasses.
Or they could be more literal and it's a demon with rabbit-ear like horns.
And in the main manga series, we don't really know at the moment what kind of intention certain demons from the rabbit clan would have, so I can specify who they might be in this manga series.

I think we are about to meet the owner of the auction Shax Lied.

In that chapter with everyone's jobs in the world of people, in Lied's case his job in the world of people was that of a stremer. That chapter is 314.15.

That's why I said that maybe Lied could be the one who owns the auction. Also, Lied in this manga series may also be a hacker, so he doesn't even need to be present at location x where the auction takes place, but being many kilometers away from location x, just looking to see how he is doing place the auction using video cameras.

It's sad that some people have to keep making the "point" of saying this series is better without giving credit where it's due. The original and this version are both good for different reasons, appreciate them both even if it's just lip service.
Mhm, no other work has to be put down in comparison to 'highly praise' the other. Not to mention that growth cannot be disparged, protoLied from the og!manga haunts me~
Speaking of, and I cannot say this enough. I love how this manga puts my favorite characters in a new light~ I purchased the first volume of the mafia AU (JP) for my collection!

I like your idea! The author has been playing with the natures and abilities of our beloved demons.

I personally think based on timeline of appearances from the og, Kiyo might be the next to show up. Especially with how Iruma is putting himself in a position of being a 'possession,' though it's just speculation with the rise of a new antagonist.
Following my words: Kerori, Ronove, and then Lied makes a splash during the evil-iruma arc and cements himself as iruma's friend during the studying arc after they get into the Royal One.
Lied is one of my favorite misfits, hopefully he debuts soon. I'd love to see this author's take on the misfits in this setting.

In the main manga series, General Furfur tricks Jazz and Allocer Schneider into paying for their consumption, but later Jazz and Allocer Schneider find themselves having to work as waiters at the Valhala club to pay for their consumption.

So I think that General Furfur in the Iruma If mafia manga series could be a kind of usurer.

But now I wonder if somehow in the Iruma If mafia manga series the one with the nickname the black rabbit could actually be General Furfur.

Like by the end of the arc they have to rebuy Iruma or/and Clara's brother so they incur some debt and we get Furfur baddass introduction.

Spin-offs... should be a place where an author explores a few dumb ideas, do something funny with their characters... NOT DIAL UP THE SEXINESS BY 500% AND MAKE THE STORY SOME FUCKING COMPLEX CHARACTER-DRIVEN PIECE.

This almost makes the main series feel like the spin-off from how goofy the main is compared to this... and the main has some SERIOUS political and social drama cooking behind the scenes.

Ameri and Opera were ducking it out... and I don't know which I am more impressed... that Ameri survived Opera or that Opera survived Ameri.

Finally someone noticed. I was reading the thread and I thought I was losing my mind because no one reacted to Ameri and Opera's offscreen fist fight. Maybe I just missed someone else mention it.
