I think Opera was jealous because Iruma getting the gun seems like a milestone for him getting better at protecting himself.

It's nice to know Opera cares a lot for Iruma here as much as the regular Demon verse

I think is for two reasons 1) jealousy since protecting Iruma is Opera job and a gun would essencialy be replacing them 2) afraid that Iruma is forced to kill using that gun making him change from the usual happy Iruma we know and love
