I really think the story flows better if Iruma is 16+ instead of his canon 14.

The way he and several other characters are depicted, namely Ameri, and his interactions with Clara and Alice feel a lot less weird if he's 16+. (Would also make it a true coming of age story)


First off, Raim and her little assumption, age of consent was 16 at the time of publishing.

Second, Ameri is hitting on a 14 year old. So is Clara btw.

Alice is 23 to 31 since Ifrit is 29 to 35. They went to school together. The amount of weight and sincerity in the conversations Alice and Iruma have feels like Iruma is way older than 14.
