@Echonic Well, after some manga, I myself sometimes feel like a conservative bastard from the 19th century, lol. I just don’t understand why talking about equality and diversity is impossible without a witch hunt and finding out who should be to blame. For example, one of my coworker was a bisexual LGBTQ activist. No one has ever had problems with her bisexual identity, but in last two years she decided to become a radical feminist and simply quarreled with most male and female friends. Likewise, I quarreled with many people when I had a “big war” with SJW. Personally, I believe that gender identity is as diverse as human life, so it’s stupid to start blood bath because of gender roles and relationships.
As for the Mennists ... Well, in my country there are right-wing communities of "real men" that are essentially just the masculine version of radical feminists. For example, they believe that every woman, including their mothers, sisters or daughters, are their principal enemies as men, you know. I’m not sure that at least a third of them really had some problems with women, but when they see Russian (for example, one of our feminists said that nothing can justify hatred of women, but at the same time, you can allegedly hate all men if one offended you) or Western pop feminism, they just get a good loophole to say "see? Women hate men and manipulate us". Few take these two camps seriously, but as you yourself understand, outside of this, the gender issue simply doesn't exist. For example, last year the word "transformer" became a meme, because our president doesn't know what trans people are called correctly, lol.
