Why was cross dressing necessary again? Like @unknownfactor said, it's been established that there are male evidols in ch 154. So they could have supported her in the tournament as male evidols right? With a disguise or with an evidol persona like she uses. So why do they need to be female?
Is this because they wanna establish that Iruma looks cute as a girl? I don't get it. Is there any other reason? And wouldn't his voice be a dead give away? He's like 15 now!

@eashu_anna I think it because idol groups typically only have one gender and/or because of how Kerori wants to emphasize on cuteness in her evidol ideals. Also, let's be honest, Lide and Iruma don't exactly have the looks or cool factor needed to be good male evidols, but they do have the cute factor when crossdressing going for them 😜

To all the peoples saying that the manga forgot that there's male evidols, there's some in the presentation page of the tournament.
I think Kerori wants them to dress as girls either because her agency produce only girls, because male evidols/mixed groups evidols have different matches, she doesn't want to appear with boys for her fanbase, she made a bet she could find and train awesome girl evidols or she just like to see them dressed as girls. There could be tons of reasons and I'm sure it will be explained in later chapters so PLEASE, stop complaining and let's just thanks this amazing group for a good traduction released so quickly.
