i'm not sure why you like replied to me specficially but i don't mind the current arc, i just find it kinda convoluted because it's so dialogue heavy, it feels like most of the pages are just walls of words
Its hard to say this without sounding confrontational but "walls of words" is wild to me. There's not that much more talking than a normal manga. HunterxHunter has walls of words. This is light reading and characters talking normally. Can't argue if you don't like it but that stood out to me. What's a manga without characters talking to each other?

I replied to you ‘cus I thought I’d like help you out with understanding what’s going on in the plot + the series direction (give a recap), but I ended up writing a bible. I’m sorry :fml: :fml: :fml: :fml:

The others did a much better job at explaining what’s going on plot-wise.

Well then, I'd say to just state that directly. The "wall of words" thing isn't really what's happening. Also this is a story that has always had a real plot with characters that have been introduced ages ago. If you just want women being romantic without the words or character drama there's lots of avenues, honestly.

Ruri keep getting triggered, when manager say Kitano and Nojiko say rest? She's almost broken....

Not enough info why keep triggered. Maybe next

The setup for Ruri and Hatomori relationship and their transition from the usual fan/idol to "friends" is really smooth, while trying resolving Ruri's situation. I'm quite baffled at how so many people missed it.

If you don't follow the plot of this arc then I suggest reading atleast 7 chapters back (this is what happened when it's only monthly release).

To note: the relationship between Hato and Ruri isn't romantic in nature. Asako says as much at the end: don't help her because she's a celebrity or because she's a (romantic) partner, but because she's a "neighbor", ie someone who lives next to you. Echoing her former situation with Miyako. She's not quite a stranger, not quite a friend, but someone you know well enough to try to help them.

Asako is giving Hato a reason to help Ruri, which she didn't really have before.

We all know how it will end. With Them being in a relationship, thats literally what happens in every single GL series to ever be created

i’m guessing the reason why Ruri keep getting triggered is due to her trying to carry the burden that Kitano has left by herself since she’s the new leader. When Manager mentioned about she thought Ruri had meet with Kitano (since the agency itself can’t contact her), Ruri herself think she’s being laidback and not hardworking enough like Kitano, and thus she overworking herself to prove that she’s as capable as Kitano.

Meanwhile Nojiko who’s worried about her for being overworked, Ruri also doesn’t want the other ELM members to think she’s not a great leader as Kitano. When Nojiko say rest to her, she thinks Nojiko and everyone can’t expect her to be like Kitano.

Well, i do hope we’ll get more explanation about her reasoning for being overworked on next chapter

i don't get the hate for the side characters tho, they're nice and damn, some of y'all need better reading comprehension, this manga is always has a subplot abt "Idol" life since the beginning with Miyako and now with Ruri/ELM.

And i guess this is a problem in manga with monthly update in general huh? people be forgetting what happened.

Gotta say, I really liked the series in the beginning. But it kinda feels it's shifted its focus from two cute bumbling lesbians towards being an idol simulator...
