Well, he's right. Diets only work as long as you do them, so if you don't think you can keep that up forever, it's not going to work. While exercise is mostly the same, it's more sustainable, if you have the time.

Exercising with people is the way too go. A lot more enjoyable and easier to get motivated :thumbsup:
