It's never exactly specified when exactly the event in the maid's testimony happened, so I guess it was before the witch got caught.

First half was excellent, the FMC pretending to be a slave girl and slaughtering her owners is 11/10 and I love her already. The second half was weaker, the politics are pretty simplistic and it was just pages upon pages of exposition. I'm hoping the exposition's over so we can spend more time with the FMC. The MMC seems cool too but I'm hoping he's more than just "stoic badass."

The witch and the Assassin huh? Not exactly a groundbreaker concept, I have seen it a couple of time, at the very least.
But, I will follow. Art seems interesting, no less.
