When I read the game between Seiwa and Fujimihara I thought it was a good game. I thought Urabe and Andy who fought Furuya head-on and lost couldn't regret it, like Andy said it was an honorable defeat. But Andy mocks Urabe and Urabe even places the blame on someone else like it's something to be ashamed of, it sounds like they regret it. Baseball shonen manga has no need for "smart baseball". Disappointing, so disappointing...How come you keep finding more and more ways to disappoint me?
Furuya is the main character. I don't know how someone reads this and doesn't think, "I want to root for Furuya and Fujimihara". There's no way this beautiful and handsome genius baseball boy who can throw 130 kmh and hit 120 meters home runs as a middle school student, who came back from a major injury, playing for a weak team that drags him down against a coward team who avoids him, isn't the main character. I won't be fooled any longer by this author who thinks he's so cunning. These past two chapters have heavily featured Furuya's inner dialogue, and it even looks like Furuya and Taki are childhood friends. When I look at Fujimihara I get excited and I think, "This is real baseball manga". Let alone Furuya, even Taki has more balls than Daigo could even dream of, even she's more qualified for being the main character than Shigeno Goro's useless son.
