I remember reading somewhere that in mejaseca Mitsuda wanted to draw the Koshien part that he didn't get to draw in MAJOR (this is by design, MAJOR was never intended to be a Koshien manga). He's a pathological liar so everything he says must be taken with a grain of salt, but it's in parts like these that are just there to waste time that I start thinking that if he wasn't so mediocre he could have at least gotten to draw that Koshien part he wanted, you've seen the numbers, he's not exactly desperate for more time.
