To be honest, I’m still depressed after reading that comment in the latest chapter...and I don’t feel like you’ve all actually done anything to deserve this chapter, but I had a tiring day and needed something mindless like typesetting to do while listening to music to decompress…whatever.

When I first opened the chapter the day it came out, I was surprised to see Nogoro peeing on the first page. I thought I was gonna think about that for a while, but it ended up fading pretty quickly after just a couple hours, and it wasn’t as big of a deal as I initially thought it was gonna be…still, it’s a lot, isn’t it? The way Mitsuda drew it feels almost…violent. Huh. I liked the dialogue that highlights how he's a massive narcissist. I wonder why not many people discuss that aspect of his character when it's so prevalent? Just look what he named his son.

So the Hanamuras…dropped everything to move to Kanagawa...in order to try and defeat some team with clout…does the entire world seriously circle around Fuurin-Oobi? I mean, in a way, I can almost see it making sense if what they want is to draw attention to themselves. But I also think they're incredibly fucking stupid for leaving their successful career in senior league to go play rubber ball baseball...and the father is actually enabling this? Their fight was kinda fun though. And the line about getting into one of Kanagawa’s baseball powerhouses caught my attention cause it’s genuinely the first time in this manga that a character actually mentions high school baseball and is shown to be considering their future baseball life. Lol...? No, I'm not in the mood...blegh

Hm, I wanna watch baseball already~ Tbh I don't know a lot about Skenes so I actually audibly laughed when the guy in the video said SPLINKER lol.

Hey, don't you think Nogoro wouldn't be able to make it into the major leagues today? (try not to think for a moment about how a protagonist like Nogoro is incompatible with the current era to begin with). Pitching injuries are more common than ever (even though Nogoro's problem was always with his shoulder rather than his elbow ironically), and pitchers are adding more and more pitches to their repertoire, not to mention that throwing hard doesn't really make you special anymore. He'd be absolutely fucked. Well, MAJOR was never really a realistic story. No matter how you look at it, there's no way a Japanese high schooler could make it to the MLB in just one year, so maybe it doesn't really matter...
