Seems like I overestimated Glenn, thinking he would cut himself out of the worm only when it was back at the nest. Now it seems pretty strange he allowed himself to be swallowed in the first place. Their little competition is already over as well, with Glenn still far away from the nest, while Satsuki has slaughtered a number of worms and is about to fight the mother worm. Unless there are two nests, and Glenn finds the other one. That would be a bit much.
