I suppose that makes sense. Those three women are getting really desperate for relationships of their own, but due to their profession, it's difficult. They can't settle down as long as they are adventurers. They mostly meet other adventurers, and the men among them aren't mostly as well-behaved (or tidy) as William. There's a proverb in my native tongue, translated: you talk about what you are lacking.

True. The expedition story is pretty grim, but seeing the three idiots cheering for the romance really lightened the atmosphere, which imo something that Jack and Selma really needs.
