I suppose that makes sense. Those three women are getting really desperate for relationships of their own, but due to their profession, it's difficult. They can't settle down as long as they are adventurers. They mostly meet other adventurers, and the men among them aren't mostly as well-behaved (or tidy) as William. There's a proverb in my native tongue, translated: you talk about what you are lacking. That's what life was like before the television and Internet. There just weren't many interesting things happening.
Also, they are adventurers, not epic heroes. It's very in-character for adventurers to be interested in relationships with opposite sex, but bad at them. It's just that being bad at relationships looks different for men (who hit on random women and look threatening while doing so).
Idk manNGL, I kept expecting Will to heal the guys leg and ruin the love story vibe.
they have their priorities rightIt's hard to take their group seriously. While seeing that demon attack, they're eating rock mushrooms and thinking about love stories lol.
True. The expedition story is pretty grim, but seeing the three idiots cheering for the romance really lightened the atmosphere, which imo something that Jack and Selma really needs. Thanks Hjek098.
Author counters bad vibes with romance. Perfection.
But consider what they'd do to stop the world ending in hellfire after hearing about how local village girl wanted local village boy's babies. These three fucking girls lmao. The world could be ending in hellfire and they'd probably be more interested in hearing some local village's romantic drama.
