Considering everyone looks to be in a healthy condition during the 'call', it seems there were no heavy casualties in both sides, it makes me wonder why the somber look. Also, considering the demon kings weren't subjugated even though most of the heavy hitters on the kingdom side were there together, I think they probably have an ace they used in that situation.
