and too thick of skin to know that he got ntr-ed
Damn, that plot point was so out of left field that it was like authors fetish shined trough for a second. But again, he really didn't care about her in that sense. There was no point for her to stuck on him so much to the point of asking her friends to fucking impregnate her lol

I wonder what his parents would say. I expect it would actually be something like you've only known her for two years, your relationship is progressing far too quickly, and you're too young for this anyway.

ok serious question...does this count as grooming
Idk it’s definitely a bit weird because of the huge age gap. He never had any intentions of being in a romantic relationship with her when they first met, and didn’t really even see her like that until she was an “adult” (according to the story) years later. So no but also a small amount yes?

Too bad,
MC having to raise, guide and eventually outlive his half-elf kids would have been a nice dynamic for the story to explore.
There is something close to that in "I Was Reborn and Became a High Elf, but I Got Tired of My Slow Life after 120 Years". Although it's not his kid, he raises a half-elf child that he will outlive

Another time skip.

Sure, getting close to people fighting full power is such a bright idea.

He didn't get horribly maimed. Progress!

Going out alone is often one of the fastest ways to grow. You're not going to get the technical knowledge that comes with having a teacher, but the experience and the ability to make your own choices is invaluable.

And that's some real progress. Learning that even if relationships end eventually if you're immortal and they're not, they're worth it, because the time you spend together is so much more than the loss.

ok serious question...does this count as grooming
No. She's the main driver of the relationship so far.
