That ドクン (heartbeat sfx) from the hero's grave... I wonder what it means. They seem to have left right afterwards, without noticing it.

The flame on the grave...it could be that the tomb have multi security systems, the first one was to make sure that a hero party would enter the secluded graveyard, and the second one to make sure the right person would get the sword, it feels like they left behind a spirit to check on the new heroes personality.
