woah this manga is shit, why people recomend this? it's like gunsmithcats but on drugs and with magic, it sucks balls.

The pacing and super annoying side characters make this hard to read or even know what is going on half the time. I know it is supposed to be comic relief but the side characters being annoying asshats is not comedy, I feel it actually takes away from the story as it doesn't give a break to built up tension as it happens so much that there is absolutely no tension at all. Also because the pacing is so bad everyone has a 1-dimensional personality and moments they should have grown another dimension get steamrolled into nothing. I can't really identify with any of the cast because of these issues. If they reboot it they should address these issues since they make a story that should be interesting boring and samey. If they wanted to be a comedy make the comedy good at least, if they wanted to be action let scenes get to peak tension so they have any impact. There are plenty of series I read that could balance both but this is not one of them

@Agavadon how diferent is from the manga? cuz ho boy this one sure feels dated, i mean i can go back and watch/read slayers or magic knight Rayearth but this one is pure concentrated cringe to read.

This is a mess, and I could not force myself through the last half of volume 2 before giving up on this manga completely (there's 6 total volumes btw). Thoughts/speech cut off in the middle of a train of thought because a side character jumps in w/some silly nonsense and then it doesn't go back and finish the train of thought/comment. A character's reply to something is too frequently out in left field (makes no sense or is unrelated to the question asked). You don't really learn much about the character's beliefs, motivations, history, quirks etc so you can't come to like or even remember them. There's just a whole lot of characters quickly entering/exiting the panels and performing some antics (think I got whiplash; One Piece is a massive universe and doesn't even hit you w/so many important characters so quickly). Moments that should be serious aren't and motion in battle is hard to follow (I swear the damsel in distress was in the hero's arms and then in the next panel back in the enemy's hand on the opposite side of the lawn/courtyard w/zero explanation ugh). There's also grammatical issues, but this likely is an issue w/the translator team. Overall, I CANNOT RECOMMEND & found it to be a WASTE OF TIME to have tried reading in the 1st place.
