I guess the author and artist decided to cut some portions to fit the volume, the beginning of the fight with Boiling Void got voided from the chapter.

The fights feel really rushed. I guess the editors gave the author X number of chapters, and he's trying to make everything fit, but otherwise these fights could've been stretched even longer.
