Maybe he will forgive a big tragedy that's caused by a certain someone/peoples intentionally or by fkin "accident" -_- Like most of the manga in this kind of genre.

Or also maybe the classic "not all people are evil by nature" so he would help those people and bring them to better life. Maybe got in to the MC's harem (cuz the tag n shit)
Two of there are likely going to happen, but considering what kinda manga this is (and also the supposed "evil" character's sudden background loredump), the latter one seems like it hit the spot more.

Cute girl in harem type manga? No matter what vile shit she will do she will be spared........Cause you know what? Fuck morals, beauty is justice.
On a more serious note, dude helped them all, he was kind, he decided to give her more and what did she do? Literally backstab(backpunch) and steal. Ohh it's for your little brother? Well next time she can stab or i don't know do something else.
Hey but almost everyone does evil shit for a reason, some are petty but many times people deal drugs or steal to feed themselves or their family members.
Let's forgive every asshole who steals for their family, ohh they killed a store clerk (accident), no biggie he had to feed his bro.
In her case she knew it was a family heirloom that he held dearly, kicked him enough to make him unconscious in a tower where different monsters appear.
Damn authors sometimes create the most dumb dramas that their work slowly becomes a burning dumpster fire.
Committing crime for your family, is not a good enough of a excuse. Sometimes it's better to let go of your family if you exhausted all normal options. It is not rare when people started to commit evil acts to save someone but when the saved person learns of it they only wish they were not saved.
Not gonna lie if i were sick with something that would dry my family, i would rather die than encumber their life's. If i was that brother i would die mentally if i knew that my sister had to prostitute herself and commit crime for my life.
Sorry needed to vent, i returned to this manga after 3 years only to be reminded why i didn't give it a better mark. Cpt.Save a Hoe to add someone to harem is quite cliche. Author needed to create a tearful backstory only to excuse awful behaviour, if you don't think with your dick, her backstory doesn't abdicate her from crimes she commited. Her being "enslaved" are her own conscious actions, though somewhat noble on the first look but it's a slippery slope and her past noble deeds were crossed out when her self-sacrificing started to hurt other people. Just imagine if instead of our OP MC there was someone else? He would die probably (unconscious in a dungeon). Or stealing a heirloom, maybe it was single a single precious thing in his life.
