Natsu but darker.....and sad.....reminds me of akame ga kill-there aren't many happy endings. At this time I think this manga is okay. He does have a good tracking skill I just hope he don't go stupid OP because of it..like many isekai mangas. Thankfully this isn't an isekai genre. Looking forward to the next chapters.

Just found this looking good, but I hope Anne dies. I just hate it when the mc is forced, black mailed, threatened to do something they don’t want to do. It only makes it worse when later down the line it becomes a “good thing” that they were forced into something. No idea why Japanese love to use this trope so many good stories utterly ruined.

It would make my day if he snapped and somehow escapes promising payback. I mean she’s no better than the criminals she captures. Goes back on deals, her word means shit without any remorse and thinks people are nothing more than tools for her to use and if not they can die as she loves threatening with.

Wait is this basically izombie (woman turned zombie eats dead victims brains to get their memories and help solve cases)? Because that’d actually be pretty cool. Like the kid eats magic to learn about the user/caster. Actual criminal investigation in a fantasy setting sounds interesting.

Since the romanization here uses "Risu" instead of "Riisu", I always think it has something to do with squirrels when glancing over it in updates.
