I don't think he and his step-mom were romantically in love at any point in the story. His step-mom was obviously completely smitten with his father. The ending was a bit different than I anticipated, but I didn't dislike it. Just wish there was a continuation a few years down the line to see what developed.

This is a nice story. But thats all.
The only selling point is the background of "classmate mom". But the rest of it; the story, the characters, the relationship, the plot; is just "okay".

Just a pass, personally. The protagonist is capable to adapt to his situation regardless of the awkwardness, so its basically just okay.

And since I personally find it less exciting after they put <the classmate mother> as 'more attractive' when she remove her head accessories, I am okay supporting protagonist's father ship. Despite the age gap that commoners loved to blame, and debate about rationality. If anything, but well...

Either way. This is not something what I'd lick once how it turns out to be. I can contain it, but barely gain any enjoyment from it.
