It is absolutely heartbreaking to see how happy pink and cute things made and makes him. And then look at him now...

I love that his mom is so supportive and that she doesn't give a fuck when people give her weird looks for giving her son a "girl's" toy. It reminded me of this asshole who used to sit behind me in my CS class in high school. He was ranting to his freinds who were like... exactly like him... about how his aunt was posting pictures of her son in skirts and dresses he chose on Facebook, and was like "I'm against enforcing gender norms, but she needs to stop posting it on Facebook. He's going to be so embarrassed in the future when he grows out of it." Bitch, how is assuming he will not want to continue wearing whatever the fuck he wants AND assuming that he'd be embarrassed about it "against enforcing gender norms." Are you concerned that people will tease him? Cause from the rest of the conversation they had, it sure didn't fucking sound like it (they proceeded to shit on transgender people btw. @givemersspls It's pretty common in the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese series I've checked out. It's generally something your relatives would be saying, but I see it about as often from friends of the character using it as a joke to the tune of them saying it and then the character being like "What are you, one of my parents now?" I'd imagine you've probably seen it before on this site and just didn't think about it that much then, or forgot about it between then and now or what not.
