but from the first two chapters the webtoon seems less a comfy slice of life as the cover and tags suggest and more a psychological traumafest in the making as the MC is dealing with what society expects him to be as a man, which is to be a horrible sexist literal chick-murderer. Even a psychological tag or a drama tag would have got the point across much better than the description which is is honestly quite shite at explaining the extent of 'battling stereotypes and the harsh judgements of others.'

@Furakutaru Hope this doesn't come off as rude but I'm pretty sure @Tehmora is correct. I think your translator is confusing 憧れる (akogareru / to yearn or to long for) with 溺れる (oboreru / to drown or to indulge in). It's a common mistake and even Google translate does the same but that isn't to be trusted. Try looking it up in a trustworthy dictionary like jisho or weblio英和和英辞典.
