I've been thinking this for a few chapters but Yamamoto really improved in the character design department with this series. Compare Karasuma with Kenji and Ayumu, Nagisa with Rin and Takagi, etc. Sure, they're supposed to look more mature this time, but still I feel like he really hit the mark here. His art improved dramatically since his debut and it really shows here, whereas he was still restricted by the style of his initial character designs in his previous series, so he didn't really get the opportunity to show off his improved skill until now.

Also @harmless I got a bit confused with the "assassin" punchline; from the translation I thought the joke would be that Himemiya intentionally lost with a word ending with an 'n' to end the shiritori (Ichinose even says she "did that on purpose"). Turns out it was just a 'shimoneta bait' in the raw.
A happy accident? Kind of crazy how it unintentionally ended up working out like that. I even like this better, actually.
