Got done reading all 166 chapters of Chainsaw Man on my day off from work. Now I am mad that I need to wait for new chapters. So I am looking for completed works that are fully translated. Hopefully one that does not kill off one of my favorite characters with a fake promise of meeting again. 😭😭😭

well, if you can be a bit more specific, it'll be better
what genre? are you okay with old titles?
what other manga have you read? (so as not to be redundant)

with Chainsaw man as the only info,
have you read the author's previous titles?
popular old stuff like urasawa's works?
maybe The Fable series?

Anything really. I would prefer older titles, honestly, if they are complete and ready to read here. I have read all kinds on here including shonens, isekais, harems, and even shoujos. I don't care if it's an action packed manga or juicy love story. My main concern is being left hanging after over 100 chapters. lol Like really, I just relived the trauma of After School Nightmare after finishing Chainsaw Man.

Idk how notifications would work here, but I replied to the response before you for further clarification.
For romance I think new normal pretty good, about post apocalyptic world after covid successfully wipe more than half humanity

And for action Backwater Swordsman it's good fantasy, the sword play is drawn so detailed. Or if the action you prefer hand to hand STAR: Strike It Rich from Kengan ashura creator is also here

well, to me, that is actually even harder, you know
there are already 80+ completed titles that I recorded on my myanimelist that I gave a score of 9/10 and 10/10
I would love to also recommend those that I scored 8, but then that'll make it 250+

so if it is just any good completed titles,
well, you can try pick one from the top scored completed manga from myanimelist
I've read almost everything listed, and each one is worth recommending

My main concern is being left hanging after over 100 chapters.
now then, if I narrow that list down to the only first 10 titles I think ended well
(without or minimal loose ends, no open interpretation, etc.,
and more importantly it satisfies me, and I like it)
then I'd say: Slam Dunk, FMA, ReLIFE, Dungon Meshi, Chihayafuru, Kenshin, The Fable, Hokuou Kizoku, Kimi to Tsuzuru Utakata, and Ohayou Ibarahime

I said 10, but when I see the next item, and I really want to write it down too
but then the list will never end

Okay, I got very irritated with that site after 10 seconds of being there. lol So I will take the titles you listed instead. Pretty sure I have heard of some of them, so I will start with those. Thank you very much.

Thank you. I added all of them to my list. Also, I am not good with names. lol What is Kengan Ashura? I honestly don't even know the names of half the manga I read. I fully read about five series last week and can name three out of five. 😅😅😅 You would think I would know after finishing them, but yeah.

I just finished reading ReLIFE. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think Volume 15 was not needed as I would have been satisfied with Volume 14 being the end. Nonetheless, I got very invested in it and am happy with the direction they went with it. Thank you for your recommendation. I will definitely check out the rest of your list.

haha,
the epilogue for good ending

glad you like it
They had me at the end for a moment. Thought it was not going to be a good ending. Not trying to give any spoilers for anyone who hasn't read it, but the phone part at the end was incredible for me. There was a lot more comedy at the beginning and it made me nervous when I noticed I wasn't laughing as much later in the series, but I am glad I stuck to it.

You might enjoy Cross Game. It's from the 2000s, but Mitsuru Adachi's style has remained pretty consistent since the 1980s. His Sports/SoL manga are all very good, and a lot of them are complete. A lot there to keep you busy.

For another series with similarly grounded characters and interactions, but in an utterly different style and setting, Takemitsu Zamurai.

Since you liked(?) Bibliomania, if you want another short, crazy ride you can give Suicide Parabellum a try. Or why not try the other Chainsaw(wo)Man series? Or hell, Qualia the Purple too.

I really like Adachi's for so long. I collected the volumes back in the day
and, as you said, his style and theme is pretty consistent, so I suggest not to binge read them all 😅
his weakness in character design is always an inside joke

I added them to my list. I just got done reading 3D Kanojo because everyone said it was similar to ReLIFE. The ending was eerily similar. lol So I will probably go to a completely different genre next. 🤣🤣🤣 Too much of whatever category those two fall under. Thanks for the recommendation.

Wtf was that? Suicide Parabellum was nuts. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm going to make other people read this so they have to experience what I just went through.
