Manga URLs

Why are thee different URLs for the same manga depending on how you arrive at the manga front end?

All the URLs on the MangaDex home page have /title/ in them, e.g. https://mangadex.org/title/19517/kenja-no-deshi-wo-nanoru-kenja.

But other pathways to the same manga, such as from the latest updates pages, have /manga/ in the URL, e.g. https://mangadex.org/manga/19517/kenja-no-deshi-wo-nanoru-kenja.

This really plays hob with attempts to bookmark manga and keep track of what I've read using only my chosen browser. And before it is mentioned: yes, I know MangaDex has a follow system for tracking reading and updates if you have an account: I chose not to use that feature.

/manga/ is oldfashioned way used before some MD-update.
/title/ is modern (read 'proper') way used after that specific MD-update.
Looks like some scripts weren't updated for whatever reason.
