Manga where main guys personality changes

Any mangas where the Mc who is a guy suddenly or goes away for a long time and changes his personality from being like weak and not confident to becoming the most badass motherfucker out there. Kinda like arifureta where mc goes through trauma and becomes badass. Or also kinda in mercenary enrolment like horrible shot happens to him as a kid and he spends year in the desert fighting and returns home a badass. Romance subplot or the entire thing about romance would be appreciated but not necessary. Seinen or shounen plz. Thx

Thx but from what I’ve seen he does learn to fight but his personality doesn’t change he gains more confidence but he still has a shy personality. Also I don’t really like the character growing and becoming more confident. I like more like a training montage or like a 3 years later he comes back to his home town or some shit and becomes confident card. But still it looks pretty good thx but not really what I was asking for.

If you’re for stories with giant amounts progression on the main characters ideals and personality, I highly recommend either Vinland Saga or Vagabond

I like more like training montage or rutile card which says that main guy got back from overseas trip from 3 years and now is like cool and shit. Cause most of these character devolpment mangas really suck and either take too long or just don’t make sense but I’ll try the series out.

What? Idk what u tryna say. What I meant was most mangas don’t handle chracter devolpment well apart from like the top mangas in a genre like romance and the ones that do try all follow the same generic cliches and not even the good cliches. Like in action manga they have the guy and u know what’s gonna happen in the end but the manga keeps dragging his character devolpment more to make the story longer and sometimes he even goes back to his original character personality making the growth so far pointless

I don’t have anything in plan to read i just have everything set to reading and if I don’t like something i drop it. If I like something I usually binge read and if something decent or meh I usually read it overtime. But I do low key get bored of shit and that’s why I made threads my bad didn’t realize I made a lot. Also thx for the suggestion I’ll def make me list public

Nah, making a few suggestion threads isn't an issue or anything. It was just something I noticed.

I used to mark everything as Reading too, but then I realized that currently updating manga I'm not actually reading also show up in my Follows, so I started using the other markers.
