Manga with no chapter

I been wondering about Manga titles that don't have a single chapter. Who uploaded the title? and is it drop and uncontinue after they uploaded the title?

There's no reason not to create a series page for something that exists, even if you're not going to upload any chapters, because someone might want to upload chapters to it and it'll need to be created at some point anyways.

Alternatively, it might just have chapters in a language you've filtered out.

Oh I'll see if I had filtered any language so far.. it also a use, I could see if any translation are already translating it.

I read the rules about uploading manga and it says manga dex's staff proof read or the uploader checked the title before it was uploaded. So I'm curious..

I think it depends on the translation team if they still want to continue translating a manga even though it got licenced. Some translator credits the author acc. on their last page and even advertise how to support them. So it's fine

I don't have any language filtered out but time to time it still shows 'no chapter'. Why is that?

Because there's no chapters? There's no guarantee any series will have any chapters.

Oh okay cool. I thought it was some technical glitch or something. Thought entries are made by groups which is why it's weird for some to not have any chapters.

Entries can be made by anyone, and no-one owns the entries they create.

There should be a feature that shows if a series has no chapters. This would save a lot of headache of opening and closing series windows constantly when searching for something to read.

Can already do that through the adv search filter.
