I'm honestly considering redoing all the chapters for Okiraku Ryoushu no Tanoshii Ryouchi Bouei myself, this English is unbearable to read. "All our members make a great effort to produce elaborate chapters for your enjoyment" my ass, that sentence itself doesn't make much sense.

Oh god, please, please do this. I feel like you'd have almost universal support from readers on that.

Please ban this group from mangdex. They have the nerve to paywall pirated manga on their site like they are a publisher.

they are actively censoring things themselves for completely nonsensical reasons.
that is to say, not only is their stuff absolute bottom tier quality, they are making an active effort to make things worse by applying whiteout over any cleavage.

on top of all that, they are sniping translations, Can't even keep their trash translations consistent, breaking multiple rules with those credit pages and then have the gall to beg for donations for this "Quality" work they give.

This group blatantly erase the original art to censor whatever they want, mistranslates pretty much everything, quality-checks nothing and even erases original artist credits. Having worked for a scanlation team before, I know that groups sometimes need funding to continue, but including 4-5 pages of credits and requests for donations is too much. They reformat pages and add their own credits everywhere they want. Removing or banning this group would be for the benefit of everyone on this site.

Please remove this group from mangadex. They just ruin manga with their shitty watermarks and like 5 credit pages.
I created an account just to say this. They also merge the last page of a chapter with their credit page on some of their translations.

Isnt there rules on Mangadex about not placing so many credit pages/ads?? I thought I saw smthn like that but idk. Apparently learned this TL group has dipped their grubby hands into waaaaay too many series besides this one, truly a sad thing

Just a reminder to everyone, any offenses like this that go against the mangadex rules should be reported. From what I've seen, site admins don't usually get super involved in stuff that's just pointed out in comment sections, but they use user reports as one of their main ways of knowing what needs to be fixed/changed on the site (which is kind of the point of reporting things in the first place, so good on them).
If you see this group do something that breaks the MD rules, report the chapter. I'd say report the group itself, or possibly even the group leader The_Ghost, but I looked at the options in the Report Reason dropdown for both groups and users and none of the them really fit as far as I can tell (you could potentially use the "Other" option and describe the situation, but I feel like that's not the optimal solution). However, if enough people report the chapters (using the correct Report Reason options), and enough of the offending chapters get reported, I'm pretty sure they'd get upload restricted.
I don't know enough about mangadex's administrative process to say for sure, but I'd imagine that if they get upload restricted enough times, or if there's a clear pattern in the reports, the staff may even take more severe actions (like locking or banning the group outright, banning the group leader, etc.).

TL;DR: Report any of their uploads that break the rules, and trust that the system will work and the staff will address the issue.

Try checking out aggregator websites sometimes they have the chapter already (not the loxked chapters that were still locked) also i found a new website called utoon.net that MIGHT be manhwafreak cause they just started scanlating some of their works, they have a coin system that requires u to login and pay $0.05 per 1 coin or 5 cents, and they just appeared scanlating about the same time manhwafreak is gone even though the website said it existed from 2021 there is no scanlation from then.

Where did you find it?

It's definitely them, too many coincidences: the same website layout, same locked chaptes, same titles and the first new chapters right after manhwafreak shutdown.

But I couldn't find any links or credits or even a way to unlock chapters. It seems like they are still tuning something.
Not that I was going to unlock them, but this sudden nuke mystery is too interesting to pass by.

They were/are offering to translate for $8 a chapter.

No way in hell is anybody actually doing legit translation for that little. 1,000% they just are running stuff through MTL with no editing whatsoever.

$8 sounds too much for a group located in China. Also if they charge money for their "services" they need to stop pretending to be a fan scanlating group. Piracy is supposed to be free.
