First off, please invest in some good air de-humidifiers. Such humidity is very bad for books. As a manga place like this you will save money in the long term because you won't have to replace books once they have been damaged by the humidity. Especially I would bet some of the older ones could even be out of print.

Secondly that fall was ridiculous. She should have been hurt more. Also the shop should invest in safer stepping stools, ones where you can hold with a hand.

And third, she was totally going to have another slick slick session again.

Yeah it is canon, the author even had to state in one of the previous chap's notes that it did happen, and promised to do more lewd stuff later in the story.
