why the girl being a pushover to the guy that destroyed her family, if she wants revenge then she should be able to speak up for herself and be more angry or something, pathetic bitch wants revenge but acts like that to the one she wants revenge on.
@talisay999 If your father was randomly framed for something he didn't do was executed and your title, wealth, and fame was lost in a spaned of a few months and a nobody family just happens to take over everything you lost imagine the mental toll that would have on a child especially a girl? Yet she still didn't give in to that family and is still fighting to regain what her family lost so it does make sense seeing someone from that family mentally abusing her to get her to submit to them due to her not having anyone to help her through the hell she went through.
@talisay999 She's clearly a more submissive person and he does hold a strong position in both his own strength and his position. She is simply intimidated too much to make any hard stances.
Some people men and women are just submissive by nature. A LOT of people actually. People even talk big online and even in real life then they just let people walk over them anyway. It feels like most humans, like atleast more than half are completely submissive at their core. They might be controlling or seemingly in charge but really the moment someone with a dominant personality comes in they become doormats. Its problematic for those in positions of authority and should generally be counselled so that they can atleast not get abused because of this.
16 is legal in lots of countries, but thankfully not mine. You'd see nothing but creepy ass 20 something guys trying to pick up highschool girls cause they got a car and job... Seen plenty of girls fall for that even if it ain't legal to sleep with anyone under 18
@Kronous i'm indo btw. have heard cases of people marrying that early but usually only ppl out in the sticks do that (i have heard very rarely of ppl marrying at 15/16 beyond tabloid stuff and such). legally speaking it might be okay but socially speaking ppl will look at you funny if you really do marry someone that young in a city
"make a dent on my sword" what a weird pre battle taunt, you know sword destruction is not actually the outcome of most sword fights you are trying to hurt the person not the metal stick they are holding. Guess the author thought there would be more "dramatic irony" if he said that before his sword got cut in half.
