I’ve always wondered why the hero is called a brave in the title kinda ruins it for me
___ ___ ___
That's actually cause Yuusha is originally translated as "Brave" in Japan instead of "Hero"
It's also the reason why some manga scanlations kept that as their translation. Calling them The Braves instead of Heroes.
This is more noticeable if you look at some Official English Titles where it has "Braves" in it while the Japan Title has "Yuusha".
IE:
English - Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers
Japanese - 六花の勇者
Romanji - Rokka no Yuusha
Google Translate - Hero of Rokka
Direct Translation - Six Flowers of Bravemen
Translation by letter - 六 = Six, 花 = Flower, の = of, 勇 = Brave, 者 = Person
