Anyone know what the sound effects are for when Lizel asked if he'd been using his arcana as an alarm clock and also when she had the weird expression on her face after being told it woke him up on it's own initiative?
In any case, seems Lizel has fallen hard for MC and falls even further the more she gets to know him. I mean really, she's jealous of a card for waking him up in the morning. Also, picking him up in the morning in case someone wants to attack him again, while valid, is just an excuse to spend more time with him while personally protecting him. Hopefully more on why she likes him so much beyond her house traditionally serving the Lovers will be explained. However, the fact that she, a devil from an upper noble household, really cares about him despite him being human, would happily embrace him while naked (as opposed to having at least her underwear on,) to heal him within an hour of meeting, and getting jealous of other girls getting close or flirting with him seems a bit much to me for a love at first sight explanation. Feels more like something big happened when they were young that swept her off feet. After all, even with a great intelligence network it seems odd that she would be able to recognize him when they first met.
It's cute how Miyabi adds sound effects to her speech although it can be a little hard to understand sometimes as a result. Classroom and Takizawa are looking down on him due to feeling like devils are the ultimate species in creation and that it's an insult for him to be in the same room as them as they consider humans to be dumb livestock to use as they please, and are reacting to him about same way as elite students would to being told a dumb cow was now a student in their class and to get along. Also, that formula wasn't a basic entry level formula but most parts of one of the highest ranked formulas being studied by numerous devil experts. Basically, what was passed as a simple addition math problem was the equivalent of one of the world's unsolved high math equations (like quantum physics level or beyond,) where just solving it would earn world renown, lots of money, etc. Part of reason Takizawa is panicking and telling students to forget everything was because his corrections and comments made it more usable, assuming was able to amass enough power to fuel it, and equivalent to correcting the formula on making a nuclear bomb more efficiently and more powerful.
Btw, Sanjou's dancing around is an unneeded addition to casting his spell. Doing so is either because was trying to look cooler than just casting it, or family casts spell by rote assuming it's a necessary part of the spell due to not knowing enough about magic or how the spell parts work together to realize it's a waste of time and energy. Also, the "sprinklers" aren't just everyday sprinklers that spray water in case of fires but also magic reinforcement and anti-magic spells and barriers to protect the students and building from magic above a certain level. After all, you've got a bunch of high schoolers who think they know it all, are all that, and can cast spells there's going to be a need of a bunch of preventative measures other than telling them not to in order to prevent student casualties or some delinquent blowing up all the buildings to close the school down. Doubt MC is going to get expelled, especially since Principle is smiling and likely isn't first time someone blew up a room.

The Arcana have their own will and depending on several factors can be used by their holder to cast various unique spells/abilities which may or may not have restrictions. For example, Healing Lovers which transfers mana from somebody to the card holder requires the donor to at least like the holder to work with greater efficiency the more they and the holder care for each other. At worst very little mana is lost in the process while at best it seems like more mana is received than what was donated. Although this is hard to clarify as no numeric values are given so can't quantify how much mana was donated vs received much less if any of the three can top off MC's mana from empty five times or five hundred before getting low themselves. There might be a similar technique or spell among the devils for a similar result but the quality and efficiency greatly pales in comparison to the Arcana. Part of the reason Lizel was surprised and jealous is that Arcana extremely rarely interact much less talk with their holders unless they really like their holder. Another holder might be able to learn spells like MC did in fight against Gelt, but could take them anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to learn the spells. Reason MC learned immediately was because the Lovers Arcana really likes him and wanted to help. Most of the other holders were chosen by some process of selection of the devils rather than the Arcana appearing before them, and have never heard their Arcana talk to them. The fact that the MC's Arcana not only talks to him, but helps him with minor things unasked like waking him up in the morning is a sign of great favor. While legends of the Arcana talking to their holder exists in old tales, it's been centuries since a holder was spoken to by the Arcana, especially from the Arcana's own volition rather than answering a request.

Find out later that devils have a very strong cultural belief of families being held together by mutual benefits with love and affection considered counterproductive and not worth even considering. So much so that they restrict their children from even being in the same room as a human for fear of picking up weird ideas. Basically parents have and raise kids as an investment for future benefits and/or profit. The kids aren't suppose to hold affection for or expect affection from the parents but to repay all the time and money invested in them through various ways. Lizel's family is extremely strict about this and as a child she terrorized her fellow students and teachers with her superior attitude, arrogance, and didn't hold back in word or thought when rudely correcting and out speaking her teachers and other adults. Wouldn't have been surprising if she had ignored MC's existence as an inferior species or had been more arrogant then Gelt. Although something happened that changed her views, but will likely be a few volumes before get any concrete details rather than vague hints. One of those hints suggested that she had met MC back when they were kids although he has no memory of doing so for some reason.

Funny that you call Kuji a third rate author and says this is a poor man's Maou Gakuin when Maou Gakuin is literally on the same level of this one.
