MC caring for others despite them hating him is typical stuff, but nothing worth criticizing. On the other hand, it's nice to see the dude finally accept his role as a candidate for Demon King. Also, those damn kisses. His tarot card is very aptly named. I want more of those kinds of kisses, they help seperate good harems from the mediocre ones.

It's more likely that they're just courtly positions, since there's no "princess" in chess; and since they're in descending order of power, I wonder if title is just determined by the order they pledge themselves (Lizel was first and got "queen", the second got "princess", and the third got "knight") or if there's something more that determines their rank.
