He was, and now he's not. Back to Total War!And here I thought he was trying to emulate a musou game character.
I actually thought these were some of the most exciting chapters of the series. The lack of text really let the chaos of war ravage the pages. I enjoyed the lack of talk-no-jutsu for this war arc. Please let this be the end of the boring no text chapters.
It's just a filter on top of the screen, so it doesn't actually affect anything. What happened to the rain?
I think it's a bit hit or miss. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it's too hard to see what's going on, which makes it hard to feel anything about it.I actually thought these were some of the most exciting chapters of the series. I think it also just comes down to what you want. I get that it can be confusing, but thats war. With these all out wars full of huge armies and large scale attacks its bound to be chaos, you wont fully know what the hells going on or whos even winning because youve got so much going on in every direction.I think it's a bit hit or miss. Sure, but it doesn't make for a compelling story. There's a bunch of random characters with a random outcome. It's not particularly effective at showing the confusion of war either, because the distance to the readers is too large.I think it also just comes down to what you want.
