@maisonaustyn There's many info about his journey in extras from the official translation. And despite all the training, items he got, friends he made, etc...
He still gets lost like always because he relies on a freaking stick to show him the way instead of using a map. I'm surprised his teammates have the patience of a saint to deal with him.
@Aran1 think about it this way: Like in the middle ages, there is no highways, signs everywhere, or clear paths to go (the Romans ad their roads were an exception in history) save if there is a lot of chariot traffic that way, like merchants and the like, meaning that they have to tread paths till they find the correct one, and if they fail they could take days to go back to the right path. And that everyday.
Page 6 gave some strong final boss battle vibes. Is it the first time we see Suya ready to seriously fight to the death?
@Aran1
In typical JRPG fashion, he probably needs to travel the world and gather the three to six pieces of some majigger in order to reach the ancient temple where the artefact required to enter the Demon Realm is supposedly kept.
@maisonaustyn
I think the most recent development was that he defeated the Sand Dragon, hence the latter's return to the castle in human form.
@Strongstache and the princess is keeping 3 off the sacred treasures for herself (at minimun) (Sword of Kusanagi, Wind Shield and Al Azif). Hero won't be reaching then using normal routes.
