A more detailed explanation in the WN was that MC's aura emitted warmth (aura was just the owner's mana, it closely followed the owner's characteristics).
To races that could feel people's mana (demonkins/beastkins), they could feel this sort of warmth/friendliness from MC's body.
So to Illuna (she's a vampire/demonkin), not only was he the one who saved her (like typical knight in a white horse), she also judged that he was a kind person (she had no idea that MC was a Demon Lord, or that Lefi was the Supreme Dragon, so she was still oblivious to their strength).
Lefi claimed that she felt it since the very begining, and deduced that MC was probably a natural womanizer/philanderer in his previous life (Lefi maxed Analyze skill and already read all of his status, including his title of Demon Lord from Another World, but it seemed the fact that he came from another world didn't matter much to her).
