Oh this is a harem alright, after the tournament and the part after that it literally becomes a harem as nell and shortly after that lyuu end up engaged to him, layla takes a while after but she also ends up in it, the benefit of this one is lefi isn't forgotten, the story actually treats them like how a harem protagonist should treat them, well.

Tournament arcs are always so fun... I mean, in theory it's a good opportunity to see characters fight characters they otherwise wouldn't, but in practice it ends up being no different from normal, but stuck in a format with less flexibility.

I also just re-started reading the WN since I got to the end of translation of another story and found out this one had started again. It's one of the ones I enjoy the most.

That's the best kind of harem story. I usually don't like harem that much because most of it is just bells and whistles without any actual substance and only serves as an excuse to have multiple waifus, usually to check off some options of a standard list. Also, Layla best girl.
