He might actually be saying 'my kid' in the sense that the masked fighter was one of his people rather than his literal child.

Either way, that new name we never heard before would also have no reason to appear if it was just a tl error, so likely he just went all in on lying to give false credits to his child for prestige.

It wouldn't be 'incorrect' in that it's a direct translation, but it's got the wrong meaning across because culture difference.
Like, the sorta equivalent in the west would be something like "shout out to my bro" - it doesn't have to mean they're literal brothers.
