Gotta have proper build up for it, tbf. Also it isn't for a lack of trying so far. The little shit propably doesn't even have a true body and is just some slime monster working through proxies.
Hopefully, he does get eradicated eventually. Not every antagonist deserves or requires redemption. Some exists just to be defeated for the catharsis.

The contrast between the first half and the second half is really interesting.
We have 3 archdemon joking around even though they were fighting each other. They are strong and have the composure.
Then the other half is about friendship power because they weren't strong enough.
