We seen glimpses of his past, and nothing resembling sanity can be seen! Its quite a miracle he didn't turn into some psycho killer! Ofc his actions are full of contradiction, and that's the point of this manga imo! Beside getting triggerd because the story isn't following a path you want, is childish!
