Yeah i'd like to see more of this, most Isekai series are too quick to throw away interesting concepts like having to learn a new language in favor of generic action.
I do hope that they actually make progress learning each others language rather than spending the whole series acting oblivious and using gestures.
I feel like with 2 relatively smart people intent on trying to communicate and create a dictionary you could at least establish a reliable and consistent caveman-like speak within a month.
Suisei no Gargantia was one of the only series that I felt dealt realistically with social and cultural issues of living in a different society, that was kind of a a scifi rather than Isekai though.
